pocket diaper leaking problem...

Ok, so I posted earlier this week about repelling used FB old style pockets... I fixed the repelling and they absorb water really well now... but I am still getting pee'd on! It seems to come out the legs - JUST after the diaper has been changed. The insert is no where close to soaked.

I was using kissaluv's size 0 and LOVED them, but she outgrew them with her high rise. She is currently 3.5 months old, but adjusted age is 9 weeks. She is just under 11lbs and has a small waist (smallest setting on FB), but the rise snaps CAN be snapped on smallest setting, but leave wicked deep elastic marks on her legs. They are best on 2nd smallest setting and there aren't gaps anyway I move her legs.

I have some kawaii's with aplix that are too big in the legs for her still and I have a few Bum genius that seem to fit, but I only have 2 so they just haven't been worn as much as the 10ish FB I have. I'm not sure if it is just the difference between the KL0's and pockets??

Or, could the they just be too old?!? The PUL looks great. The elastic on the legs is still quite stretchy. The inserts absorb water quickly.

She does pee slowly as I've watched it come out a few times when I'm changing her and was surprised that it wasn't quicker. It trickles out. Is it just a bad fit? Pocket diapers can't leak this easily... else no one would use them.

Comments? Suggestions?? I'm not sure what to do, but these diapers leak on her.

What are you using for inserts? IS there any gap between the inserts and the side of the diaper (the insert nnot being wide enough)?

I'm using the insert that came with them... They go right to the edge in the crotch area.
