Wool Qs

Do you get compression leaks with wool? I'm thinking in carseats or baby carriers (I use an SSC mostly). I'm in the process of switching to a mostly wool cover stash but am wondering how much PUL I should keep.

We use (and love) mostly double layer interlock wool. It seems to be the most leak proof for us. My favorite maker is Wild Child Woolies. If the cover is lanolized well we never get compression wicking.

ITA with everything the PPers said. Double layer interlock is amazing. WCW is my brand of choice, as well. I tend to get more compression leaks from my Sbish soaker... gasp! I currently have only one PUL cover, and it only gets used as a last resort.
