Is it safe to use Shout/Spray & wash on diaps & inserts?
 

I've been spraying my poopy diapers with spray & wash (it's called something else now but I forgot the name), but was wondering if it's safe on all diaps and inserts, including hemp & bamboo..??

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it is. Have you tried bac out or oxyclean for stains?

I'm guessing it voids the warranty, but I have used Shout on a few occassions where I had a nasty stain and it takes it right out. No damage to the diapers or discoloration.

I use spray and wash on my prefolds. I figure it's safe because it's just cotton and spray it on my regular clothes.

I find that it is very hard to rinse out of other things. After foolishly using it on my cotton nursing pads when dd was first born and feeling how it burned my tender skin, I'd really hesitate to put it on a dipe. Oxy or sunshine would be a better way to treat stains.
