When did you start offering liquids?

Sorry if this has been beat to death, but at what age/time did you start offering liquids (water/bm) in a sippy or other type of cup when your lo was eating? Thanks!

I offer a little bit of water with solid meals. Not enough to mean anything, but just to get her used to it.

so, I'd say to offer a little when you start solids. I think she started the sippy at 7months. Some people use a little shotglass of water and let them drink from it like a cup instead of using a sippy.

My lo started around 6 months, he picked up the Sippy cup really easily..and now does his own bottle too. I really think its whenever you want too. Asher has 4oz of water/juice mixture a day. 2oz during morning snack, and 2 at afternoon snack.

At my LO's 4 month appointment she said we could offer a small amount of water in a bottle or sippy cup on warm days.
