Introducing Solids soon!
 

My daughter is 5 months in a few days and I am introducing solids to her. I wanted to wait until 6mo, but external factors made me change my plans. I am making my own food and have her first two foods frozen and waiting. I'm a little sad she won't just be on breastmilk and how it signals how much she has grown, but I am excited to open her world to new and hopefully exciting new things. Any tips, suggestions, words of comfort, etc? :)

What external factors? If you don't mind me asking.

Sorry for the late reply, my DD had a really bad rash, then an ear infection :(

She mainly has all the signs of being ready, plus my family keeps sneaking her tastes of foods and keep pressuring me to the point of argument.

I'll take a look at the blog post now :)

My DD is going to be 4 months on Sunday. Thinking of starting her on rice cereal. Should I or should I not?
