natural methods to induce

For those of you who chose a more natural way to induce labor instead of the dreaded Pitocin, what did you do? Castor Oil. Evening Prim Rose Oil, etc.

if so what was the doesage and instructions? Any others Im not aware of yet?

EPO wont help induce but it does help ripen the cervix. Red rasberry helps strengthen the uterus for labor. How over due are you asking? If baby not ready not much of the natural stuff will work

ETA: Added below what it does

Im really just asking for future reference. With DS, my fluid was getting low and i had GD so he was getting a little bog, so the OB induced me at 38 weeks... the Pitocin was awful. In the event that happens again, I wanted to know what more natural options were out there.

When you say the Red Raspberry strengthens it for labor what do you mean?

I meant uterus sorry lol:

How Red Raspberry Leaf Helps the Pregnant Mother & Baby:
The increased vitamin A intake, in the form of carotenoids of RRL can aid the women’s immune system as well as facilitate healthy skin and bone development for the baby. The Vitamin E helps to promote better circulation in the mother whose blood volume dramatically increases during pregnancy. RRL contains an easily assimilated form of calcium. An increased availability of calcium is necessary in controlling nerve response to pain during childbirth and in aiding bone development in the baby. The presence of fragrine allows the uterus to contract more powerfully and effectively during labor. The high vitamin and mineral content helps to replace those that are lost via blood loss in delivery. The alkaloids that are present will also aid in toning the uterus after birth as it returns back to its usual size.

This is a good one to start early or you can get the pregnancy tea it has it in there too

I would look into natural ways to induce. Id learn how to keep the previous conditions under control. Imo there are no natural ways to induce. If the baby isn't ready then they're not ready. Exercise is a great way to prepare your both. Along with epo and rrl

Where do you buy RRL & EPO?

With number one I was two weeks past my due date and I ate an entire pineapple. He was in arms six hours later.

With number three I was 38+3 but high risk and trying to avoid a medical induction. I used EPO vaginally for two nights and ate the eggplant parm and pineapple that night. Water broke at 7:40 and she was in arms at 9.

My body responds well to foods, apparently.
