Bottles for preemies
 

What is your favorite bottle? I have tried the medela slow flow and it still chokes them sometimes. I only do 3 bottles a day. Breast for the rest.

I used the Ready Feed Enfamil Nursers with preemie nipples when she first came home (hopsital gave us a few to take home). Then I was using Dr.Brown's preemie bottles, they seemed to help with her refluz it wasnt as bad when I was using these bottles and the nipples were tiny.

Good to know. I had no idea they made preemie bottles. Thanks! I check out target today.

I love love love the comotomo bottle, though I've only tried it with breast milk. It's boob shaped and I found it actually helped with my preemie's latch. It only releases milk when he actually sucks, so he never gets flooded and it's super easy to clean.

we didn't use them, but i know alot of preemie parents like the dr. brown's preemie nipple. we had to use a medium flow nip. because DS would get too tired and worn out on anything slower.

I second Dr. Browns with preemie nipples. They were a life saver for us. :)

My baby only would use one type bottle & still only uses it. The playtex ventaire with a slow flow nipple.
