advice needed for leaky diapers

I have about 5 used LRD AI2's that I love the fit of. However, despite waterproofing spray (it was a cheap brand probably), they still feel wet on the outsides in about an hour. Is there anything else I can do? Should I add an insert...if so, will that make them more bulky? I like them because they are not so bulky for a change? Thanks !

I am a huge fan of Carolann's littleraindancers:lostit: , but I do sometimes have this problem. I throw a microfiber or terry cloth doubler under the snap in soaker and have no problems at all. They aren't bulky with the added doubler either.
HTH,
Kim
