Any of my friends on FB - keep it zipped!! This is not coming out for a looooooooooong time.

Just by looking at this test.... how far along would you think said person was? :giggle:

Re: Oh My.

Impossible to say. Every test is different. Odds are good you are over 4 weeks along but beyond that the level of darkness of the line isn't technically meant to indicate anything and can vary based on manufacturing of a particular batch.

That being said...congrats mama :giggle:

ETA: I should mention that I'm assuming that wasn't an "early" pregnancy test and you weren't using morning urine. If either of those is off you might not even be 4 weeks along.

I don't think you can always tell by how dark it is. With DS 1 I didn't test + until almost a week after my missed period. With DS2 I tested + and it was DARK 4 days BEFORE my missed period AND I have really really short cycles. I know I wasn't farther along. With this baby I tested like that 2 days after my missed period. I would say still early, but you never know. :goodvibes:

Re: Oh My.

I'm trying to come to terms with this not being a "new" pregnancy - I got a faint positive test Nov. 19th, began bleeding as soon as I took it, and had a very heavy m/c cycle. I then started again on Dec. 10th, a lighter than normal period. Then on the 21st, I began bleeding quite a bit, passed a few clots, and that stopped completely within 24 hrs.

I don't know if I'm 5 weeks or 9 weeks, or if this is even a sticky pregnancy (recurrent loss history) - but I am calling my OB in the AM and demanding an appointment to figure all of this out...

I had some light bleeding twice this pregnancy and my ob said not to worry that she has seen women gush and keep the baby. I think an ultrasound is the only way to know! Good luck and congratulations!!! I hope this is a sticky one for you!!!

:giggle: this test still makes me insanely happy.

I cannot wait to hear what your ob says. I have absolutely no opinion. This one baffles me.

Though it is similar to how I came to have a Cate. 5w m/c Nov 25 with the faintest of faint tests, weird bleeding on and off all Dec and then super dark IC test on 12/30. Remember?

I hope they get you in tomorrow.

 Hi Christine! I'm in shock.

My OBs office is closed today... so I am trying to find somewhere to get me in. I go out of town tomorrow and want to make sure that things are okay before I go!
