Inspire me, please!
I picked up a bunch of wool sweaters at good will yesterday to make into longies/skirties/soakers. Could you please post pics of any you made to help inspire me? Thanks!

Some I did recently using the sleeves at the shoulders. Super easy as pie. Sorry my pics always look blurry to me from my phone. They are folded. I can take some pics of them hanging. I will post in the next post. Really, I can spell. It's my phone that can'tSent from my iPhone using DS Forum |

Attachment 89241 Attachment 89242 Just a few more. I use the sleeves at the shoulders. The only sewing I do is the rise seam and attaching the waistband. The rest is making use of presewn seams of the sweater. The awesome thing about this method is I can make sweater warmies (or sleevies as I call them) right up to DDs size which is size 8. She wears them under snowpants and dresses. They are perfect. I use wool sweaters often especially for the diapering age sizes but will use any soft nice sweater since I sell these locally people arou d here aren't concerned that it has to be wool. If I ever get time I will draw up a tutorial. It will have to wait until next week when the kids are back in class and hurricane Christmas is cleaned up but I should be able to do it.
