What does it feel like when baby drops?

I know that this sounds silly coming from a 3rd time mom, but I barely remember my first pregnancy (9 years ago) and my second was a repeat c and I believe that baby was head up most of the pregnancy.
I had an ultrasound on Tuesday and the tech said he is head down. Also, I had a bleeding scare two weeks ago and the Dr. told me I was already 2 cm dialated. I am only asking because I feel ridiculous every time I get up from a seated position and try to walk. It takes me about 5-10 steps to get to an upright position. And even when my bladder is just a little bit full, I feel like I am going to explode.
I am 32 weeks and change right now. Is it too early to be feeling like this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Feeling the same here at their calculated dates 30wks and mine 33-34 weeks. Our baby is breech but he dropped months ago. I pretty much walk with an extreme waddle and it takes me a bit before I can even walk when first getting up {2 previous c/s also}
Here's pics of my 'dropping' belly at 28wks :

Wow, you really show it when baby drops. Unfortunately for me, I carry very high (short torso) so I don't really see a difference. Surprisingly, after two c-sections there is still anything left to hold up the baby.

Anyone built like me feel like the baby has dropped but belly shape hasn't really changed?

Youve just described what it feels like, LOL!! I think you might be having your baby a lil early. Are you sure your date are true?

Lol!!!There is no disputing when an IVF baby is conceived! Definitely 32 weeks, 4 days today.

Hoping to make it to at least 37 weeks, but section is scheduled for 39 if I make it that far. My Dr. is avoiding internal exams because of my bleeding scare last month and the fact that I am not contracting.

Is there any other type of extra monitoring that I should ask for? How dangerous would it be to have an internal at my next appt?
TIA

I could tell only because he'd been head down for awhile but all of a sudden I could eat a lot more without feeling like id explode!

You might just be feeling a difference because the baby changed position. Changing to head down s/he sits lower without having technically dropped.

Oh and when the baby drops, people start greeting you with "woah, you poor thing, you haven't had that baby yet?" Seems even the layperson can sense you're about to go.

This baby is head down and super low, she dropped last week but then moved back up.... and dropped again lol. When she's up high I have trouble breathing or eating. When she drops I can feel the pressure in my hips and breathing is much easier.

I don't really show it either. Someone mentioned today that I was carrying SUPER high despite the fact that her entire body is smooshed below my belly button.
