ISO a Pattern to make Upcycled Longies

I can't seem to figure out how to cut to upcycle some sweaters. Is there a pattern or tutorial for this. :headscratch: TIA

Using this pattern, If I have sleeves, how do I cut so that I do not have to resew the edges?
