Questions about used diapers

I purchased some diapers and am wondering how I strip them as well as what I should do to make sure they are clean(if I need to do something other than just washing)

Just run them through a bleach cycle!:)

Re: Questions about used diapers

You should rinse in cold, then do a hot wash with detergent, then do 2 loads in hot without detergent.

If my fsot diapers look clean I just wash them a few times before using them. In hot water. I had some once that did NOT look clean and I soaked them in boiling water till the water came clean!

I'm more worried about if the baby ever had a yeast infection or something like that. Would just detergent and a hot wash get that out?

I strip all used diapers that I purchase before using them on my baby b/c chances are you won't use the same detergent the previous mama used, and like you said, the baby could have had yeast or some other infection that you don't want to give to your own baby.

I strip all used dipes... But we have serious detergent sensitivities.

Apologizing in advance for iPhone typos/autocorrect

so how do i strip them? and how much bleach should i use? will it not effect the color or print of any other the diapers?

If its just a few diapers. I strip them in the sink. Squirt some Dawn on each one, use a toothbrush or just rub the fabric against itself to kind of scrub the dipe. I let it soak in really hot water for a bit then rinse it well.

And I always bleach used diapers. If you're going to do a full load and just bleach everything, about 1/4 cup is good.
