I think it was started with this cartoon: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=1&theater

Here's an article about it: http://www.parentdish.co.uk/2012/02/...boobie-beanie/

LOL!! I love it!!

ETA: I'm like that annoying know-it-all kid in class. :/ I think I've been a little excited/obsessive about all things baby for too long.

You guys would love argentina. Women breastfeed anywhere here and without covers. I personally more of a private person so ill use covers but no one else does. Theyll probs call me a freak for doing it to.

That's what I would have thought too.. But add high temps to opinionated babies (they get that way quick!) and you might be surprised to find yourself nursing sans cover quite a bit. It's nice to live somewhere where you won't get stuff for it.

I second that about the high temps and covers. I'm in Miami and wow is it hot to breastfeed outside. I remember sitting at DS sports practice in the summer trying to feed in the hot sun with the cover and she just kept pulling it off she was so hot.
