crib, blanket on floor, play mat, swing? Do they nap on their belly, side or back?

DD naps on me, on our bed, or in the pack n play. She sleeps on her belly.

Dd3 naps in her crib . Shes 21mos so she sleeps on back /tummy. New lo will nap in bsssinet on side/back

When dd1 was little she demanded her bassinet(then later crib). DD2 could always sleep where ever. When she was around 12mos I did start putting her in her crib around the same time everyday to get on dd1's nap schedule. My kids ALWAYS slept on their backs until they could roll themselves over.

DS napped on me or in his swing until 3-4 months old (both of them). Then we transitioned to his crib. He slept on his back until he learned to roll over, now is in all sorts of positions throughout his nap/sleep. Right now he's on his side (video monitor).

What are these things you call "naps?"

Can you explain to my daughter that they are good to have? lol

DS2 naps in his crib, and has always done really well with it. DS1 wouldn't nap anywhere besides his swing until around 13 months. (he's almost 3 now and doesn't nap anymore)

Wherever DD falls asleep. If she looks uncomfortable then I'll move her but if not I leave her alone.

dd1 is 3 1/2...she is asleep in her twin size bed right now

dd2 is 15 months old and asleep in her crib


both of my kids sleep on their back until they learn to roll over and then it just depends on how they fall asleep...

Swing, co sleeper, our bed, and big brother's crib. He sleeps on his side, but I've been finding him on his tummy. Did you notice where he won't sleep his own crib. He's three and a half months.
