Typical growth for preschoolers?
 

I know every child is different. I'm just wondering what typical growth is in teh toddler/preschool years.

DD gained 6 lbs and 3.5 inches between her 2 and 3 year check up.
She only gained 2 lbs and 3 inches between her 3 and 4 year check up.

She's fine, still growing. But 2 lbs doesn't seem like a lot in a year. What's average?

That sounds pretty typical to me. Once they get older they only gain a couple/few pounds a year.

Urgh. My kids hardly gain at all. Like, staying same weight for 2 years lol

Thanks ladies!

She has food allergies, so I constantly worry that there's something we're missing. Her ped asked me to bring her in in the summer for a weight check so I wasn't sure if it was really a concern or just an overeacting ped.
