Moving to Whidbey
We are moving back to whidbey island in the next couple of months, can anyone give me suggestions on where to get local organic or grass-fed meats, and organic produce. I'm willing to travel up to the bellingham area or a little farther if needed. I'm not a huge fan of driving south but i will if needed

There is the skagit valley food coop in mount Vernon, and one in Bellingham too. I know there are a few CSA's too, my friend gets one from Bellingham. There are a few farmers markets, I think that the mount Vernon one is on Saturdays. I can ask around for more info if you would like! :) I hate going too far south too! Traffic usually gets crazy around Everett/

In Bellingham, you can go to one of two Community Food Co-Ops, Trader Joe's, or the Saturday Farmer's Market. Organic produce is also available readily in the regular grocery stores, just not as much selection.

Don't know if you're still interested, but 3 Sisters north of Coupeville does grass fed beef, I think. They sell it in Haggen in OH.
