seasonal allergies!!! any natural remedies?

allergies are so bad this season. i can't even sleep through the night. stuffy nose, itchy throat. anyone use something that works when pregnant? My MW said i could take Claritin (not Claritin-D). but i'd rather try natural things.

Thanks mamas. you are the best!

Local honey is my very first thought. I know some of the girls answered on FB for you. I sure hope you find something that helps!!!!

DDC I have been struggling too and finally just broke down and got a sinus rinse type thing similar to a netipot. I feel so much better! it's creepy to do but it works lol

Ddc

Get some local honey. The bees pollinate on the pollen that is causing your allergies. This will help tremendously.

We got some when dd was dealing with rsv that ended up being allergies (we think). No more wheezing.

I had seasonal allergies since I was 5 years old till I cleared up my diet and such. These were the only thing that worked well and are homepathic so are supposed to be safe to take while pg. I haven't had allergy issues in years till this pregnancy, so I just bought some of these. Oh the relief! I was also waking up at night sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, etc...

As with all homeopathic stuff, take when you have a clean pallette - usually 1/2 hour after or more after you eat/drink something other than water and wait for at least 1/2 hour to eat/drink anything if possible. Helps it work better.

I'd say yes on the honey but it does raise blood sugar for those who have problems with it.
