WHAT'S YOUR GOAL FOR THIS WEEK?
My pregnancy brain is horrid! So in an effort to remember i figured we could give each other ideas of what needs done by sharing our lists. We can come back and update our original post every week and I will bump it to keep it towards the top. To buy: -gather birth supplies towels 6qt. tupperware -nursing bra - after birth To prep: -make birth snacks To do: -find a new home for things stuffed in dresser -cancel DH's phone -put notebook in nursery DONE -Finish installing floors -move furniture back to it's proper place -crib skirt -assemble crib when it arrives -crib mattress -set up Opa's cradle -make mattress base for cradle -install car seat -birth kit -encapsulation kit -get rid of 'stuff,' by consignment and donations -clean behind fridge and stove -thank you's for church shower -write a 'just in case' hospital birth plan -mama cloth liners -create contingency plan for work -fill out leave paperwork -maternity pictures -buy washcloths -sheets -curtains -PUL and FOE -research more on vaccines/Vit K, etc. -birth ball -wash clothes -Have fun at baby showers, then make a list of things to buy -area rug -changing pad & covers -Boppy cover -wash crib sheets/blankets -easy/freezer meals for afterward -phone number cards -robe -cheapo coffee grinder -type up session minutes -write thank you cards for each baby shower -wash/prep diapers -CD Player -nursing pads -car travel mirror -choose pediatrician -CD laundry instructions -insert afterbirth bath instructions -pump replacement parts - after birth -baby gate -clock -tubside seat -snappis -prep work for Teaching Enhancement Symposium -prep work for Freshman Convocation I know there's plenty more... I'm sure I'm missing something, but here's what I can think of: * round out cloth diaper stash; wash and organize it all - DONE * get infant tub, bouncy seat, and activity center out of basement; wipe them down - DONE * reassemble crib - DONE * set up pack 'n play in bedroom with bassinet attachment and baby changer - DONE * get the rest of my son's stuff out of the nursery - DONE * touch up paint in nursery * clean and organize baby toys - DONE * get car seat and swing from my friend (so thankful for these!) - DONE * put away diapers and clothes that won't fit right away - DONE * dust and vacuum nursery - DONE * set up changing center in living room * edit and print off my birth plan * pack hospital bag - DONE (minus last minute items) * put two more screws in crib - DONE * tighten screws on glider * install car seat - DONE * assemble swing Other stuff around the house: * hang shelves in DS's room * finish decluttering/organizing/cleaning office - DONE * finish decluttering/organizing/cleaning laundry room - DONE * go through pictures of DS; finish albums and scrapbook * have DH finish yard, dog area, and clean up back porch - DONE * purge/clean/organize basement * check all smoke detectors, get two more up * get things ready for my mom to stay at our house To buy: * last bit of diapering stuff from Diaper Junction - DONE * pack of disposables for baby and toddler, and wipes - DONE * changing pad and cover for living room - DONE * crib mattress (and some other little things from Amazon) - DONE * going home outfits! - DONE * handprint/footprint kits * new nursing tanks - DONE * nursing pads - DONE * stuff for post-partem healing (pads, Tucks pads, etc.) - DONE * little things for hospital bag (travel toiletries, slippers, etc.) - DONE * screws for crib - DONE I will probably add to this. ;) |

2 upright dressers Gifts for ds and dd from baby To sew: Wash cloths Soakers and longies Hem onesies into tshirts Big bro big sis lil bro shirts Diaper bag Breast pads To prep: Dipes and baby clothes (need a dresser!) Freezer meals All our wool!! Misc: Need to call about deferring my student loans Need ds records from old ped Emissions test for dh car |

After 5 kids I'm kind of a minimalist when it comes to baby stuff and we have everything else. What I need to do - Clean the house from top to bottom Have DH sidecar the crib to the bed Pre-register at hospital - DONE |

Doesn't preregistering make it seem all too real!? Luckily you can preregister online for my hospital so I just need to remember to do it. |
