Help me diagnose my berry canes?

I am new to blackberries/raspberries, I have grown these from bare root first year canes in pots with potting soil mix. They've sort of struggled to get started and have never looked all that great. What am I doing wrong? The littlest one has been struggling with some sort of fungal infection. Cleared up for a while when I blasted it with an antifungal but started doing the same leaf curl/rust looking thing the others are doing. :( My guess is that I need to give up on the pots and just plant them in the ground. I was hoping not to need to do that since we don't know if we'll be here much longer. Thoughts on what might be the problem?

I don't know what the problem is but my blackberry did something similar. It must be something about root establishment because as soon as the first little spring died off it started producing shoots from the ground. I've decided that the first shoot is simply a decoy or superficial and that the shoots that follow will be heartier.

Could it be a nutrient deficiency for the third picture? Mobile nutrients like nitrogen are taken out of the lower leaves if the plant is running out-could be a possibility in a container situation.

Well I have given them liquid fertilizer a couple times (weakly) but it seemed to make no difference. I think I'm going to have to work out a location for them. :(
