Help me find a good romantic dessert using strawberries. :)
 

I need a good romantic dessert using strawberries for DH's bday. I'm doing some chocolate covered ones for him (for later ;) ) but need ideas for a dessert for right after dinner tomorrow night. Any ideas?

Strawberry Shortcake could be nice. The photo with this recipe made my mouth water.

Or a fresh fruit tart, like this.

We've had enough shortcake for a while...and cheesecake is out. I don't have all the ingredients for one b/c I can't get to the store right now. Those recipes look really good though!!! I'm hoping to find something a little different than the normal fresh strawberry recipes I use this time of year...

what about a simple homemade strawberry icecream on a hot brownie or a hot strawberry blondie with vanilla or chocolate ice cream

I don't know if you consider this romantic but its so good and super easy! You hollow out some strawberries and then mix some cream cheese and powdered sugar together (no rules, just to taste). You fill the strawberries with the cream cheese stuff and then dip the tops in crumbled graham cracker. It's like little strawberry cheesecake bites!
