I make yogurt cheese to get my whey and it is very close to cream cheese too but not as sweet. Yogurt cheese is just yogurt that you put through a cloth (I use a cloth napkin) and let hang. The solids are the cheese, the liquid is whey. Easy, easy!

ETA I guess that is what she is doing but having you make the yogurt first. :giggle2:
