Hi all,

I had my 6th healthy pregnancy and then delivery in April of 2011. I was happy and fulfilled. My husband and I were ready to stop creating and focus on raising our children.

In June 2011, I went in for my permanant Adiana outpatient procedure...all went well. In October, I had my first check...one blocked tube, one partially blocked. Ugh, I had to wait a few more months. In January 2012, I had a followup check...both tubes were blocked! Yippee!

I made some silly jokes to my second husband...father of 2 boys...I guess if God wants you to have a girl...it will be out of our control.

Fast forward to July 2012....i am late...there is no way that I could be one of the 1.6% failures. Pregnancy test...very positive...go to my doctor on Saturday in shock...no appt...tick off her nurses. She is beside herself. I am the first Adiana fail in her office of 6 ob/gyn's. Utter shock. HCG test: 541...HCG 2 days later 1151.

My ultrasound is tomorrow...I am exactly 5 weeks. Scared either way....new baby...ectopic pregnancy.

I guess nothing really is 100% except abstinence!

:( whoa, that would be quite the shock! Congrats (i never miss an opportunity to say this) and hopefully your uneasy feelings get better for you.

:hugs: I'll be praying that it's not ectopic. Look on the bright side...you're beating the odds and that is a good thing in most cases, right?

Oh please update us! :) I hope its not an ectopic and its just a plain boring healthy pregnancy. CONGRATULATIONS btw :D

WOW you are the second person That I know, in two weeks, who has had a pregnancy after procedure. praying for a healthy baby. Congrats!
