Q about boingos

I've never seen one irl. Can they catch your skin or other material similar to snappi? Meaning do they have the crazy sharp teeth?

I wouldn't say they're crazy sharp. I think snappi's are sharper. However, my friend did gouge her finger, but not enough to make it bleed. It does leave little holes in my flats and prefolds, but again, nothing permanent. I think the way the boingo teeth are make it a little bit more gentler than the snappi.

I agree with PP that they are not as sharp as a snappi. My LO has actually grabbed mine when I wasn't looking and he didn't hurt himself with it.

I prefer my Boingo's to my Snappi's. I have gouged myself with a Boingo, but it was completely user error. I've hurt myself many times with a Snappi and it always came undone for my DD.

Not as sharp as snappi's but they will still catch your skin. I caught my thumb accidentally the other day and it gouged quite deep.
Still hurts

In my opinion, Boingo's are just as sharp as Snappi's. The teeth seem almost the same. Actually, the Boingo teeth are more narrow and almost look sharper.

I have both, so I will take pics for you.

You can zoom in and see what I'm talking about. No idea how others don't think they're as sharp!

Yes maybe not as sharp is not the correct thing. They are on a different angle than the snappis making them at least seem a bit less dangerous.
