Thirsties size 1 too small already?
My two month old is about to move up to the yellow edge prefolds and has pretty much grown out of the xs Thirsties covers we have. Our size 1 Thirsties cover does have a little more growing room, but not much. Is it possible that a chunky 12 pound baby (and getting chunkier by the day :giggle2:) will fit in a size 2 Thirsties cover? Or will she be swimming in it? Any recommendations?

My chunker made it to the end, and out of some diapers...then trimmed up to fit again. It is quite possible! But I'd hold onto them!

There was a weird gap between 1s and 2s for my fattypants DS - like, neither fit him from about 12 pounds to 15 pounds. :dunno: We used smalls during that time period.

Yeah, we were in size 1 for about 7-8ish weeks. He is now in the Size 2 at 10 weeks. They seem a little big but only because I've had to go up in size of prefold which are just a little too big, but the smaller size is just too small.

Re: Thirsties size 1 too small already?
I'm struggling with the same decision right now, my little guy is about 14lbs at 8 weeks and I've already had to move up pre-fold sizes and now I'm looking at buying thirsties size 2 for covers because I feel like the size 1 are not covering my prefolds very well these days (I always have a little that wants to stick out the top and the gusset)

I wish I could move her into a OS instead of a sized. I don't really know much about the fit of other brands. I didn't use many covers with my first DD since we have mostly done pockets and AIOs.
