Quick question:
How long is breast milk good for out of the fridge/cooler? I've heard 8-10 hours so...
We are going on a 5 hour drive tomorrow. I have 6oz. of milk in the fridge (collected from 2 days ago till today). Is it possible to just put it all in one bottle and feed Lulu on demand from that 1 bottle all the way there?

Yes. I keep it at a strict 6 hr rule. But others aren't picky. Change the nipple when donnude ending if you are concerned about bacteria. I would just make 2 ounce bottles.

Re: Quick question:
I unfortunately only have 3 bottles LOL, and 2 are currently frozen so I can feed her on the way home and one for a sitter while we are there. Probably should have gotten more bottles...

It's always best to give a bottle you know will be finished. Breasted babies do very very well on 2 ounces, every two hours. So more bottle would help! But using one, is something some people do. You just risk bacteria growth (we have bacteria in our mouth. So once it contaminates the nipple it grows. One day? You'll be fine. You should need less than 6 ounces. 1 ounce per hour is a great rule of thumb to avoid over feeding :)

Re: Quick question:
You could also make a ziploc mini-cooler, just fill it full of ice+the bag/sealed container of milk, and set it somewhere in the car where any condensation wouldn't cause a problem (like the floor mat, if you can avoid stepping on it).
