What is going on?

My son was doing really well until this past week. We've missed all poops but one! He is not giving cues, and he's really resisting staying on the potty. What's more frustrating than anything is that he'll wait to poop until after I give up on trying to keep him on the potty. I'll have him on the potty for 10-15 minutes around the time I know he's due to poop, and he'll go in the fresh diaper instead.

He's recently started pulling himself up on things, could this be related? Or is this normal for a 10 month old? Any insight would be appreciated! :)

Could it b he's just not ready? Real early like that its more u than him to get him to potty. My little 15 monthits hit & miss 2 but we follow her cues. She likes 2 b naked so that's potty time if she wants & sometimes poo. But no true potty training til later or unless she's truely ready. Or school....

Potty pauses are very normal and usually happen just before and during big milestones like mobility. You can rely on diapers more if it is stressing you out, or just keep at it and be patient! Good luck!

We are pretty relaxed about the potty normally. But for a month he just seemed to "get it" and was really easy to read. And once he was on the potty he enjoyed it and often pooped right away once I cued him. I don't know, I guess DH and I got too excited about his progress. We use diapers regardless, as he likes to pee often. I'm hoping it's only a pause and I'll just keep offering the potty at our normal times until he starts giving me signs again. Thanks for the info!
