Which glass bottle has the slowest nipple?
We've been using Playtex nursers for DD and the plastic has always bothered me, and I also hate spending $30/month on the liners. I got all excited when I saw that Avent now has glass bottles and I ordered 4 of them. DD is almost 6 months old, so I ordered 8-ounce bottles, which came with stage 2 (slow flow) nipples, supposedly for ages 2 months & up. They were WAYYYYY too fast for her. So, I ordered stage 1 (newborn) nipples, thinking that they would be perfect and they are still too fast for her. :( She practically chokes when I feed her with them. Now I have wasted $50 on these new bottles and nipples and can't even use them. I am back to using the Playtex Nursers for now, but would still like to find a glass bottle that I can use for her. The only one I'm opposed to is Dr Brown because I don't want to have to wash that long skinny vent out all the time, but I do want something that vents fairly well. Born Free? Evenflo? Lifefactory? Green 2 Grow? Baby Safe?

We used the enveflo ones. DS never had trouble with them, but I don't have anything to compare them to. We bought the slow flow nipples because it comes with medium I believe.

I second Dr. Browns! It would have to be the standard size bottle since it's the only one that the preemie flow nipple will fit in. It works great!!
