What can my 10 month old NOT eat??

Her dr said she could have anything and everything but peanut butter and peanuts. But every time I want to give her something different and my mom is around she tells me no, that will hurt her stomach. Like cucumber and mushrooms. So what do you think? What should she not eat until when?

The only thing she cannot have is raw honey.

DD doesn't like mushrooms or cucumbers, but she likes pickles and has since well under a year.

It's nice that your mom is overprotective as opposed to giving her cola in her sippy or something. But either way, you can feed your daughter those things.

Oh and raw honey can be had once she is over a year old.

It's actually all honey (see here: http://www.cdc.gov/nczved/divisions/...ulism/#prevent) until 1 year.

Aside from that, yeah, coke in a sippy cup might not be the best but there's nothing she "can't" have! It's great to give them a variety of stuff so they get to try it all out!

The only thing that make my little one (10 m) have an upset tummy is cooked raisins. But there was NO way to know that without trying it out.

We specify 'raw honey' simply because if bread or something has honey cooked into it, it's fine.

But any of the liquid is a no-no.

Personally I try to avoid all nuts. Other than that....

Raw honey is the only "no-no" that I am aware of..unless there is a huge nut allergy in your family?

Thanks! :) I don't give her anything she can't chew so no nuts. But I have given her peanut butter before and she has been fine.

My ped recommends no peanuts/honey till age 2.

Other than that ... DD eats everything we eat. Onions, mushrooms, cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, rice, beans, etc. We offer meat but she will not eat it.
