BLW...on WIC...95 jars a month ?!?

What am I going to do with all this baby food? I will be getting 64 jars of fruits/veggies and 31 jars of meat per month. Need creative ideas for using them.

Use the fruit and veggies to make smoothies, mix and freeze for popsicles, donate to a food bank, mix with unflavored gelatin to make finger foods (I think my mom called them Knox Blox when we were little). Mix meats into pasta sauces, spread on toast. Good Luck - that's lots of little jars!

You can put them in recipes. Meatloaf, spaghetti, chili...

You can mix them into muffins for fruit muffins. Use the fruit ones on pancakes or waffles. The veggie ones can be mixed into pasta sauce and meatloaf and then you've added a hidden veggie. Or mix into bread for veggie bread (not exactly the same but I make onion-potato bread all the time). Use meat in pasta sauce or lasagna or as a meat layer in strata or layered veggie or "mexican" lasagna. You can also try making soufle and mixing in the veggies to that, though you'd probably have to go easy on it or it would be too heavy... or just make it a savory baked egg custard. Lots of options for use in casseroles too as hidden veggies or an extra meat.

Can you taste them when you put them in other things? I am getting the same amount on WIC and my daughter absolutely hates them (she would much rather eat what we do) so we have tons sitting around!

WOW! That's a lot! My little guy only got 28!
