Shipping costs?

How do you calculate shipping costs? Besides actually going to po :).

I notice most sellers seem to have pretty exact numbers?

Re: Shipping costs?

You weigh the items (I use a kitchen scale) and then go to WWW.usps.com. You need the buyers zipcode and it will give you shipping costs.

Re: Shipping costs?

The buyers zip code only matters for things over 1 pound. First class is a flat rate, so if it is less than 13 oz, you can put in any zip code. For 14 oz and up, you need to knwo the zip code, because the PO charges more for the further it goes. If you are trying to figure out a PPD price for a larger item you could put in a zip code for somewhere for from you (for ex, if you live in Seattle, google a zip for Miami) and use that amount so you are sure to cover shipping cost. HTH!
