The 25lb Challenge September thread
Our goal is to lose 25 pounds (or more!) by the end of January and to get healthy. With 5 months to go, it's a totally do-able 5 pounds a month! Original thread here. Each month will be a new thread.
Official start date will be Friday, Aug 31st and we will weigh in every Friday. Post your weights in red so I can track them. I will update this first post with current weights so we can see how well we are doing! Anyone is welcome! For first weigh in, please post your weight and goal weight in red. I am 160.2 with 12 lbs down now. My goal is 130, with 152 as my 1st mini goal.

anything with too much sodium and I instant go up a few pounds. In my head I know it's mostly water and easy to lose, but I'm always bummed a little by the huge jump. Today is my lifting day. I just ate breakfast (a little late since I only had coffee before dropping off DD and came home famished) so I'm waiting a little before I work out.

I'm in if you don't mind me joining a bit late. :) 25 lbs is pushing it for me, but I hope to get there eventually.
Starting weight: 156 Goal weight: 139 (pre-baby) -- I have a 7 week old and my body does NOT like to lose weight when nursing a newbie, so I'm trying to be patient. I eat clean and run 3x/week. :) |

I am going to join too! My starting weight is 168, I think (our scale is not digital and hard to read the little lines). My ultimate goal weight is 130. But I'd be happy with being 140 by February. :-)
I also have a 7 wk. old baby. I haven't been cleared to exercise yet (but can I count nursing?? :-P), but I'm trying to eat low-carb/low-sugar. |

I so wish nursing helped me lose weight.
