New bamboo fibers have oil... what about hemp?

I have a few OBF and other bamboo-blend fitteds that I need to prep together, but I also have a few hemp babies inserts/doublers. Should I prep those with the bamboo stuff? Does the hemp have oils in them too?

I know I'm supposed to prep the bamboo stuff away from any synthetic fibers for at least 3 washes (right?), but does the same apply to hemp? (or should I prep the bamboo away from the hemp as well? )

Thanks :)

I don't know about separately prepping. I do know that hemp requires a lot of prep to be fully absorbent. I was told as many as 10 washes.

Me, I'm lazy, I would toss the hemp and bamboo in together to prep and not worry. Since I have all natural fibers(mostly cotton) when I bought 3 hemp fitteds I just tossed them into the diaper pail with my dirty diapers. I did this twice and then put them into use. To increase absorbtion I made sure to use them as soon as they were clean so they could then be rewashed. I used frequently for the first month(like 10-12 times) then they went into regular rotation. They are primarily used by my husband and daughter.

Anything that doesn't have snaps or PUL I would boil for 30 minutes and then toss it in with the regular diaper laundry. Most of my doublers are hemp and this method has always gotten me great absorbency right off the bat.

Oh yes, hemp has more oils than cotton. You can even smell the hemp oil in the wash when they are first laundered. That said, I only ever wash anything once or twice and let them get more absorbent as I use them.

I always found it interesting that bamboo has oils considering the extreme processing it goes through in becoming rayon.
