I'm moving in a couple months, and my kids have been out of diapers for almost 3 years but I'm still here lol

Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum and I'm not so great with the spelling as it is so forgive typos

Hey I was wondering if you all could give me some basic info about Orange county? My DH has a job offer there, but it would be moving across the country. Like, what is basic cost of living expenses (rent, electricity, etc.)? Obviously it's going to be a lot more than here, but it would be nice to have a rough estimate.TIA!

I'm in Irvine. Have a 19 year old daughter and am due end of Jan/early Feb with a baby boy :)

It's pricy in Irvine. Houses are at least $350K plus and rents are about $1,800+ for a two bedroom. But, There are many other lower priced areas that are still nice, Anaheim, parts of Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, etc... Plus, you can't beat the weather :)

good luck!

Anaheim is where my husaband's work would be if he takes the job so that's good to know that it's a little lower but still a nice place to live. How are the schools in Orange county?
