How long can I freeze colostrum for?

I'm pumping right now in hopes that it will jump-start my labor. I have almost .5 oz of colostrum! It's going in the freezer. How long can it be frozen for? I can't find much info online on freezing colostrum.

I'd be interested to know also, most of the answers I found online said don't bother.

I just found an article that says it can be frozen 3-6 months, and added to breast milk if thawed for 30 minutes in the fridge first, and there is more breast milk than colostrum.

Thanks for looking! Do you have a link to the article? I would love to read it too. :goodvibes:

I froze 40 oz of colostrum from my pregnancy to three months, when I found an adoptive mama of twin girls who were soo so fortunate to have it!
