best carrier for a big baby?

I have a 10 month old that is now 25lbs, so he's difficult to wear on my front. My go-to carrier is now my Ergo, wearing him on my back. It works very well, I'm just wondering what else is out there.

Anything that would be comfortable enough to wear him in front still? I miss it! :)

I love the Baby Hawk Oh Snap. :) You can cross the straps for a more comfy front carry.

My 1 year old is 25 1/2 lbs and long and hasn't grown much recently, so I'm in the same boat you are :P

I mostly carry on my back, SSCs, MTs, wraps, we have some of each :P I find hip carries are handy for short periods of time so keep ring slings for that, I did find about 18 lbs I needed to move away from a single layer linen and much prefer a wrap conversion RS or something sturdier (Sakura Bloom double silk and double linen are more supportive). I can't wear her there for long periods of time, but find it handy when she is sleeping and when I'll be sitting cause she can be in the sling and nicely cuddled.

My best bet for front carries are MTs as I can adjust it fairly well, still not as easy as a small baby cause she is pretty tall against me, but I find it sits her fairly nicely.

What do you find hardest about on the front? I find the weight distribution in general is ahrder with them on your front.

Yes, yes, good point! Crossing the straps makes a big difference in my opinoin :D Many of the SSCs do this, minus the Ergo and Boba...
