Keep my pisa or rent a pump
I have a pump in style advance that I bought before I went back to work. I wanted to buy a hygeia enjoye but it was a lot more. My pisa has been working just fine. I still want a hygeia tho. So I called and rented one of their pumps Friday. They've already charged my card but it hasn't shipped. I'm thinking now I should just cancel it and keep using my pisa. WWYD? If it matters the start up costs were $85. Then every month its only $25.

Re: Keep my pisa or rent a pump
If it ain't broke, why fix it? Unless you need a more powerful pump (changing from the professional grade to hospital grade) I'd just stick with your PISA if its working, especially since you already own it. Don't spend money unless you have to.

I used a symphony in the nicu with dd and when I went home to my pisa I hated it so much I rented the symphony when she got out of the nicu. If I ever have a need to pump again I will just rent the symphony again. It is so amazing, comfy and for me made a huge difference in supply.

Re: Keep my pisa or rent a pump
They shouldn't have charged you yet that's nuts, call them Monday. If your pump is fine, just keep it, if you can afford the rental of the hygeia then rent it or a while.
I have a pisa and love it, super fast gently pumping. I used the symphony at the hospital and it was o-k but not great, I was surprised that my pisa worked better and faster since people say hospital grade pumps are better, but I was not impressed:dunno: |
Well they had shipped it by Monday already. I got it Thursday and love it!
