Fitted Sew-A-Long

Anyone want to do a fitted diaper thread? I know we had a newborn one but we can do one for any size.

Maybe this will get my butt in gear with sewing. ;)

Sure why not. I have like 4 fitteds cut out waiting to be sewn up.

I'd play along next month. I've got several other projects to do first. I don't *need* to do more diapers, but I'm always up for making some new fluff.

I'm in!! I have the patterns cut out for the red and orange DDU newbie diapers. I'm ready to cut fabric but I'm panicked lol. Do I need to be aware of the stretch of the fabric when cutting my layers out?

Also, I don't have any BF I only have OBV on hand so would a print knit outer, hidden layer OBV and inside layer OBV be too bulky? I'm thinking of doing snap in soakers.

Pic of cutting progress. 16 OBV diaper shell cuts. 16 OBV soaker cuts. 8 cuts with 2 separate prints for outers and topping soakers to match the diapers. Using the red DD free pattern. Enough for 8 diapers. I'm planning on doing turned and too stitch this round until I get my serger back from my sister.

I want to do this, but I have a question..

What do you all do to make your soakers if you don't have a serger? I've made them before but they just don't look right, I guess.
