Re: Bra conversion

Sandy_Dandy does them! She is a professional seamstress and works for a ballet company. She converted three of my bras when I was nursing DS3 and did a wonderful job. If you look at them, they LOOK like nursing bras, you can't tell they started life as regular bras. :)

I plan on getting a few of my favorite bras and getting her to do some more for me this time around!
God bless!

She is out of biz. :( I did contact her and she was able to do some for me, but her time is VERY limited as she's expecting, has a LO, and working FT!! It took a little while to get them done, but boy are they amazing! :D

From what I understand norstroms does. My friend had one done and they used a clip like you'd see on a strapless bra and didn't secure the shoulder strap with anything. I'd check it out and ask exactly what/how they do it. It was only $10!

Hi, I'm not out of business. :)

I'm not keeping up with scheduling people on my WAHM post, but the link is in my signature still. I am currently on maternity leave with a new DD, and I have a toddler DS at home, so I couldn't keep up with the official schedule but still have all the bra clips & stuff in the house. :) PM me.

Re: Bra conversion

I heard Nordstroms will convert any bra to a nursing bra for 10 dollars. Not sure if its true, but its would be worth a look.

Also, for those who know how to sew, you can order nursing bra clips from www.sewsassy.com. That's where I get the ones I use for my conversions.

There are photos in the link in my siggy so you can see how I do them, too. And you can PM with sewing questions. I make very little profit on my WAHM conversions; it's really more a labor of love to help other nursing moms and buy myself a little treat here & there so I don't mind if you ask me for tips. I'm not safeguarding a big secret. ;)
