How long before I HAVE to wash cds?
 

What's the limit to how long a diaper can sit in the pail? A week? When it smells bad? Do they get moldy/permanently stinky if left too long?

with ds2 we only had access to laundromat so i only went once a week, dipes were fine

The only time I've ever gotten mold/ mildew on a diaper was when it was put in the pail with food on it accidentially and I waited longer than usual to wash. Once in a blue moon that will happen to me.

mold/mildew can happen, stink can set in, I wash every 2-3 days to avoid those issues

I get pretty strong ammonia if I wait more than 48 hours. I think it may depend on your child, your laundry routine, and your diapers though.

I wash every 3rd day *2 if I use more diapers than normal* this gives me one full load with out overloading and keeps smells from setting in. Ive gone 4 on occasion with out issue but thats my limit.
