After the High Chair

I'm looking for booster seat recommendations for toddlers. We love our Ikea high chairs but the kids want to sit at the table with us now. The adjustable highchair/boosters seem like too much, as we don't need the recline feature, or the trays, but I'm not sure the basic ones will be high enough for my tiny kids. What boosters do you like?

We use stokke seats (and I think ikea makes something similar) from the beginning to the time they sit in adult chairs. Well worth every penny!

Stokke- from CL here too.

I like the foam boosters too- but we don't own any- "Cooshie booster"

My kids always used an old wooden high chair. They're pretty cheap on Craigslist and at garage sales.

We just have cheap fisher price boosters I got off CL 2/$10. They have trays that we sometimes use, or they can just sit up to the table, buckled or unbuckled, depending on how messy the food is, lol. My 2yo and 3yo fit comfortably in them, with room to grow. They are height adjustable, but I don't mess with that.

We have the fisher price booster and took the tray off a long time ago. It has three height adjustments.

Thanks for the replies! As much as I live the Stokkes, I'm looking at boosters for portability. Plus the kids are very much over the high chair phase and want to sit in regular chairs. I'll take a look at the PF boosters next time I'm shopping. Thanks again!

I have a Prince Lionhart booster for my daughter. It is one of the cushy foam boosters and she loves it. I got it from Walmart.com, but other stores sell it too.

I got a fp healthy care booster for dd1 at 9mos old when her high chair broke. She was a tiny little thing and it was perfect. Dd2-a big! girl-started using it at 9mos(when she got interested in eating) and again, worked wonderfully. I still have it and plan on using it for ds when the time comes. I love that thing!
