Tide powder vs liquid

I had been using powder tide or gain . Recently I bought a bottle of liquid but I think I'm gonna just use it on clothes bc diapers aren't getting as clean. Did this happen to anyone??

I tried the liquid too and hated it. The diapers never smelled all the way clean so I used it on clothes and hated the smell and couldn't wait to use it up and get something else.

I'd say it just depends on your water. The liquid works great for us, but the powder breaks DS out in a rash.

I tried the liquid also and didn't like it. I have very soft water and it didn't seem like it rinsed out as well and the smell is stronger/different, too.

I got my wash routine info from abbyslane.com (the Cloth 101 tab) and they recommend powder over liquid. I use Tide powder. It's cheaper thank liquid too, right?

I found that whatever made liquid stay liquid made my DS have a rash. When I switched to powder, the rash was GONE!

I really liked the tide original powder but now I can't find that anywhere its all ultra which didn't work for us. However now that we have a water softener I wonder if I should play around with it again. Tide liquid is getting our diapers super clean but there is a scent (not bad) but just a different scent that is in the diapers when they are dry. Using the powder there would be no leftover scent what so ever.
