bib fabric- PUL or laminated cotton?

I want to make some bibs for dd, but I don't know if I should use pul or laminated fabric. I want something that is durable and I can toss in the wash (like pul), but the water proof part is on the bottom for pul, so I'm thinking laminated will be better? Does anyone have experience with this? Tia! :goodvibes:

I use PUL on the front and fleece backing. I wash and dry them. The fleece pills a bit, but the PUL is in great condition after a year--and I have to wash with bleach at that. :)
I don't have any experience with laminated cotton.

Thanks for the experience! I'll give pul a try first! :)
