BFP yesterday..two more tests today...so light?
 

I took a test yesterday and got a surprise BFP after 3 years of secondary infertility! I took two more tests with today's first morning urine. To me, they should be getting darker. The one on the bottom is out of the same box with the same pee. Why are the lines so light? Am I pregnant or not?

Should I be concerned about this?

Any one reccomend a certain kind of test? We live in a tiny, one store town and there are no digital tests sold here.:banghead:

They all clearly look positive to me! And I hate blue-dye tests, by the way... they give too many false positives... but judging by the pink dye answer test, I'd say your eggo is prego!!

Those all look great! Way darker than mine and my positive is currently taking a huge morning nap!

I've heard that the blue dye tests are no good. Does the store you go to have anymore red dye tests? You could always order a digi on line.....it would take a couple days to get to you, but if you want positive confirmation it might be worth it. Or could you go to your doc for a blood test?

I think a positive is a positive even if it's light. I don't know what it means if it gets lighter from a darker positive the day before. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I second (or third) the poo-pooing of the blue tests. Stick with the pink! And the digi won't really tell you anymore-- unless it would just make you happy to see the words ! :goodvibes:

don' t stress. if you can get more of the answer you had first, I'd do that. I know people have a love/hate relationship with FRER but I like them.

congrats mama! a glorious victory over secondary infertility! I hope to follow your lead.

Thanks for everyone's positive confirmation. It just seems really unbelievable after 3 years of ttc and one loss about 18 months ago, so I'm doubting a lot.

They're all definitely positive! :)
You can't really compare blue and red lines - they're very different. Also, hcg doubles every 48hrs (ish) so you wouldn't see a big line difference from one day to the next, kwim? Better to wait (yes, I know how hard that can be!!) for 2 days to test again - that line should be darker :thumbsup:

Mine did that too. Freaked me out. But my betas were good. IM sure you're fine :)

I'd go in for a blood work up. If I recall correctly, they can give you a hormone shot in the case the hcg isn't increasing fast enough. :goodvibes:

I would go to your ob but don't worry about comparing the tests. Its practically impossible to compare two different types of tests. You could check the store for frer and take one with fmu tomorrow and again with another frer and fmu the next day to compare. Or just get a blood draw. :) congrats though. Your eggo is definitely preggo!
