Hat advice
My friend just had her second baby and I'd like to send her a knit baby hat. But she also has a 2 year old and I'd like to make a matching set. So I need a pattern that would work (and be cute on) a newborn and a 2 year old. Any suggestions? (and pics would be great!!)

Boy girls?
Jackson's Hat pattern gives you tons of options and from NB-Adult sizing. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jacksons-hat-2 |
Re: Hat advice
Both boys, should probably add I just started knitting this year and although I can do longies fairly well and am working on our first sweater I am a surgeon not a professional knitter, so the skill level required can't be too crazy!!!!

OP, I did a Hudson hat. It wasn't too bad and it is really cute. It was my first project that wasn't a square! I did have to watch a bunch of you tube videos because I didn't kno,w how to use circular needles, make icords, etc., but even with my newbie skills I figured it out. |

that owl hat is cute, cute, cut, but only goes up to 12 months, boo. I think I might do 2 matching hudson hats, just have to see if I have enough yarn, otherwise I might be forced to buy more yarn  |
