Keeping track of weight gain.
I thought some of us (I know, not all of us) may want to keep track of weight gain here. I know some of us may not want to, for personal reasons, which is fine. I would like to keep up with my weight gain, because with my other kids, I've gained between 40 and 55 pounds. I'd like to stay well below that this time, and stick with the typical 30 lbs or so.

Anyway, on August 1st (last LMP) was 140 pounds.
Appointment on October 30th, was 136.6.

Will keep track (update this post) after my appointment in 2 1/2 weeks.

Re: Keeping track of weight gain.
I'm down about 9 pounds. I was keeping a close eye on it, but I'm getting too depressed to care. It's not like getting on the scale makes me more able to eat.

I've gained 5lbs and I am 13 1/2 weeks. I really would like to stay at 25lbs total gain.

I'm with you mamas, I gained 50lbs with DD, I'd like to keep it at about 30-35lbs this time around. Pre-pregnancy - 136lbs 11 weeks - 137lbs. With my last pregnancy I was already up 7ish lbs by now. We'll see though, cuz I can't seem to keep out of the sweets and prepackaged goodies. Bleh!

Re: Keeping track of weight gain.
I've gained right around 45 lb. four times over now. Even last time when I gained pretty much nothing my first two trimesters I put on that weight at the end (of course, 10 lb. of that was baby, LOL). I did really well with weight loss after my fourth though, I was down 40 lb from my end of pregnancy weight by like 4 months postpartum. I'm starting out high this time anyway, I was 185-190 when I got pregnant. I've actually lost weight (and I haven't even been sick), I'm at 180 right now. I'll probably still end up with a 45 lb. gain, but I won't complain if it's much less. Since I'm heavy to start with I can get away with very little gain as long as it's personal body weight loss balancing out with baby growth and gain.

All of you low weight mamas suck! (And I mean that in the nicest way possible! Lol) I always use to be low weight like that (always stayed in between 118-121) but I now have PCOS and boy has it kicked my ***! It started back in 2002/2003 when I went on the depo provera shot, gained like 30lbs, I've been up and down since (but have also had 3 babies in that time) but never below 130. I had just lost some weight before getting pregnant (but mostly body fat/inches) I started at 154.3, last checked on 10/23 and I was about 150.5 I really haven't been able to eat a whole lot more since then so I'm assuming that I lost more or stayed the same. I'm hoping I don't gain much because I really don't want to see a big number on the scale at the end. Having PCOS I don't lose weight very easily even with BF'ing

Re: Keeping track of weight gain.
I was 190 when I ovulated, 198 at 11 weeks. BMI 25.8 (I'm 6' tall)

I gained almost 60lbs with DD - definitely watching myself this time!

I am more active now since I stay home with (very active) DD, rather than warming a desk; hope that makes a difference.

Oh, and I weighed 153 when I graduated from high school, so I hope to get back there after I'm done having kids.
