I want to try kefir grains...
But I'm not sure where to find them. I know someone here sold them to me once before, but I can't remember who... Anyway, where do you get yours?
Also, please post a recipe that you like using the milk specifically! |
Re: I want to try kefir grains...
I know there is a website called cultures for health or something like that, that you can order the grains from. If you want the benefit of the culture, you have to consume the kefir at room temp or cold, but not baked or cooked in anything. Heat kills the bacteria. So smoothies or the like are the best way to use kefir.

Re: I want to try kefir grains...
I bought them from someone on here before, I don't suppose anyone here sells them anymore? If not, I'll get them through cultures for health next week, but I have paypal now and they don't take that. I was looking on amazon, but theirs don't seem to be what I got last time. I got a bag of milk with several grains that looked like cauliflower. I'm hoping to be a bit more educated about it this time, although, I still don't really know what it's supposed to taste like.

I'm not sure how to send it either. The lady that sent it last time isn't on here anymore. It came in a bag of some sort, all sealed up with milk. |
