Weight gain??
Hey Mamas! I'm 26.5 weeks and have gained 12 pounds. Is this right!? It seems like a lot to me when you think I still have 14 weeks left! Yikes!

Sounds fine. Each time i gained 30-35 pounds. Your body will gain what it needs to. What does dr say?

Re: Weight gain??
No, that's not a lot. Every woman can healthily gain a different amount, depending on her starting weight, etc. I'm 26 weeks, have gained 16-20 lbs depending on the time of day, and expect to gain about 40 lbs overall. I gained 50 lbs during my first pregnancy, because I started of at <100 lbs.

doesn't sound like a lot to me! I'm 27 weeks and have gained about 14lbs, I'm actually measuring 2 weeks behind.

Re: Weight gain??
Your body generally gains how much it needs, 12 lbs seems normal for your gestation. I'm 25 weeks and have gained the same.

Re: Weight gain??
I am not completely sure of my total weight gain, because I wasn't keeping track of my weight before, but I would guess around 15ish. I am 25 weeks (tomorrow), but I tend to gain a lot during pregnancy.

Re: Weight gain??
Doc says it's fine, and baby is measuring a week ahead, but he also said it was fine when I blew up like a whale in my past two pregnancies, so I thought I'd get another opinion. LOL

I'm 27 weeks this coming Friday and have lost about 2 pounds from the start...

Re: Weight gain??
Dude, you're lucky! I'm 24 weeks and have gained 20+ pounds. *sigh* It's not ideal, but my body looks for any excuse to gain weight. Luckily, I weigh less this time around than I did with my last pregnancy, but it's just my pattern. Just keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to lose it again! As long as you're eating healthily I wouldn't be concerned with the #s.

I started out about 25 pounds heavier with this pregnancy then with all the others...
