Rice Pudding!
 

I just learned how to make this yesterday!
Did you know it was this easy...?

6 cups of milk
1 cup short grain rice
1/2 cup sugar

Stir in a double boiler setup, until thickened, an hour or more.

My children had it warm for breakfast this morning with dried cherries in it. Easiest breakfast ever. So yummy!

I :wub: rice pudding. Unfortunately, the rest of my family doesn't agree.

I vote for adding ground almonds and pistachios!! Whenever I go to an Indian restaurant I have to save room for kheer, served ice cold. it's the best!

Mmmm... We love rice pudding here. It's DH's all time favourite (except he puts raspberry jam in it... blech!).

LOVE crockpot rice pudding too. We add a touch of vanilla to it...yum!

I actually do a baked rice pudding that has a lot of eggs in it. You use cooked white rice so I always make extra for dinner when I'm making it. We love rice pudding. I would also love to have the crockpot recipe too. That might be nice to get up in the morning to a hot crock of rice pudding!

:giggle2: I'll call my mom and ask her. She makes it every time we visit during the holidays. I'm pretty sure it involves sweetened condensed milk and vanilla as well as butter and uncooked rice. I'll post the recipe here :) Its so delicious!!

I love rice pudding and crockpot rice pudding would sooo easy!

I really love the Allrecipes Creamy Rice Pudding recipe. Great topped with caramel sauce.
