BFP and Beta question
 

I am 10 days past 5 day transfer and my beta results are in- 541. Is this good? I am having a hard time figuring out how far along I am because we did IVF and it was a FET. Any thoughts?

Big congrats! That's awesome. Betas are so variable so early on. Do you have another draw in 2 days to check doubling? I think that if you're days days out from transfer and the embryos were 5d "old" you would be the equivalent of 15dpo, or about 5 weeks 1 day. Not 100% sure, though. And certainly at that point a beta od 541 is within the range of normal. HTH. :goodvibes:

sounds great! but you don't really know unless you get a second draw 48hrs out. If it doubles than it's awesome!

as far as how far along you are I'd say if you are 10 days out from a 5 day transfer that would be 15dpo so around 4wks 1 day

That is a great beta. A single number alone really doesnt mean much though. You will have a second one and as long as its doubling good thats what matters most.

I had IVF done twice one 3 day and one 5 day FET. My betas at 13dpo or 10 days after the 3 day was 289 and my beta at 15dpo or 10 days after the 5 day was 495.

Like the other posters said, one number doesn't really make or break it - it's the doubling time that really tells you something. But that number is great for starting out! And definitely a "positive" at any lab!!

Eeeeee! I know what the other ladies said about the second draw is true, but that sounds like an excellent first draw number!! So very happy for you!
